Things to do in London in February 2022

Well, thank goodness January is over, ey? For those of you who stuck to Dry January we applaud you and for those who broke their New Year's resolutions within 24 hours don’t worry we’ve all been there!

To get February started in style we’ve picked out the best 5 things to do in London this month. Whether you are overdue a night out with the girls or you are looking for something to do with the kids in half term - we’ve got you covered.

Valentines Day at the Hidden Jazz Club

Are you looking for things to do as a couple for Valentine's Day or are you bad at buying valentines gifts? Why don’t you book a night at the Hidden Jazz Club located in The Vaults near Waterloo Station. The venue was once a used railway and has since been transformed into a theatre. The Hidden Jazz Club creates an intimate and electrifying experience focusing purely on the jazz music performed. The event is artist-run and has regular contributors such as Denys Baptiste and Banker Golding. The events are for ticket-holders only and must be purchased in advance.

Kidzania

February half-term can always be a hard one because well you know, February weather isn’t always reliable! Kidzania is the perfect day out for your little ones to keep themselves busy, whatever the weather. Based in Westfield Shepherds Bush, Kidzania is a scaled city where kids get the freedom to be whoever they want to be in a city made for them. It can be hard finding fun yet educational things to do with kids but, Kidzania allows children to discover their passions in an immersive experience as they get to role play being at work and play whilst having fun. They can be an airline pilot for the day or even a Radio DJ or actor. Those who are under 8 years old need to be accompanied by an adult otherwise parents, you’re free to go off shopping and leave your kids in safe hands!

London Fashion Week

The AW22 London Fashion Week is from 18th-22nd February this year including a wide range of catwalk shows, presentations, appointments and events all throughout London to express fashion. What designers are you most looking forward to?

A Night Out with the Girls at Eastcheap Records

The home of Live Music, good vibes, cocktails and pizzas located just a two-minute walk from Monument tube station. Eastcheap records have a range of events with different music genres from funk to soul or maybe even a bit of hip hop if you’re feeling loose? F.Y.I they do 2-4-1 cocktails everyday from 4-7pm - you’re welcome!

Roller Nation in Tottenham

Fancy a boogie whilst roller skating? Why not try Roller Nation in Tottenham. The large venue has an outdoor space to chill and a large bar and skating area inside. Each night has a different vibe but we would suggest the Roller Boogie on Friday Nights - the DJ’s fab! Although, if you’re wanting to take your kids we’d suggest going to the ‘Family Jam’ on a Saturday afternoon. If your legs start to hurt from all the skating then they have indoor seating with a wide selection of food and drinks available. Our very own Emily went recently and said she had a great time but… she did come out with a couple minor bruises!
