Things to Do in London in October

Autumn - where the days are darker, and the nights become longer. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t fun and exciting events and activities to attend across London. We wanted to put a list together of exciting events for you to attend in October, something different and unique for the highest level of fun!

WUNDERBAR OKTOBERFEST

Wunderbar Oktoberfest is coming to Pergola Paddington! Dust off your dirndl and leap into your lederhosen for ‘Wunderbar’. The venue will be transformed into a beer hall and will serve special Oktoberfest cocktails, real German beers, Bavarian food, and much more.

Get ready for six weeks’ worth of activities- started on the 18th of September and running until the 31st of October, there are plenty of festivities for you to enjoy: parades, bottomless brunches, a ‘pink’ Oktoberfest party, and the chance to be crowned beer King and Queen at Wunderbar.

Tickets range from £15- £20, but this is something you definitely don’t want to miss!

AERONAUT

Aeronaut is a guaranteed fun-filled night out. They are known best for their comedy shows, brunches, VR experiences, aerial acrobatics, and circus performances so there is definitely something for everyone! Enjoy a bottomless brunch every Saturday from 12-3pm, but if you fancy something a bit different, this is the place for you. Themed brunches are available and include: ‘It’s Britney Brunch’, ‘The Greatest Brunch’, or ‘Brunch Mia! Abba Brunch’ to name a few.

GLITTERFEST

Fancying going all out for Halloween this year. How about a zombie-glitter R&B Hip Hop rave?! Glitterfest is on the 29th and 30th of October – the sparkliest party in the world!
Dance the night away with your fellow spooky party animals, joined by confetti cannons, circus acts, zombie stilts walkers and sparkles. Costumes at the ready as fancy dress is essential!

LONDON COCKTAIL WEEK

Cheers to London Cocktail Week – the biggest cocktail festival in the world. It’s also been extended to last for the whole month! Festival wristbands can be purchased for £15, which gives you access to £7 signature cocktails at 250 bars across London. London Cocktail Week will definitely brighten up your autumn – experience different restaurants, bars and cocktails that you wouldn’t usually try.

LONDON RESTAURANT FESTIVAL

Are you a foodie? If yes, you need to check out London’s Restaurant festival which runs throughout the whole month and celebrates London’s electric food scene. There is a programme of food and drinks you can enjoy which includes restaurant hopping tours, movie nights, specifically crafted menus and more!

LONDON’S LITERATURE FESTIVAL

Enjoy London’s literature festival for a series of talks, readings, poetry, and performances. The festival will take place on the 21st of October to the 31st, at Southbank centre. If you’ve been missing your friends, you’re not alone. Join the literature festival to reflect on what it means to be a friend today.
