On Friday our word of the day was celebrate.

Friday 21st March Goho turned 6, and boy did we celebrate. We celebrated being the 50% of businesses that survive this long, we celebrated being female powered in a man's world, we celebrated our community, but most of all, we just wanted the team to have a bloody brilliant day. The entire Goho team work so hard, it made me really happy to be able to let them let their hair down a bit….We continuously smash KPIS for clients, we get top PR placements across National press, trade press, TV and radio, we book unique venues for our clients’ events and curate outstanding and memorable experiences, we create top notch social media content, write brilliant blogs and marketing plans. We even manage to have a little bit of fun as well. So read a bit more on that below, and raise a glass for many more years to come!

Happy Birthday Goho!

We started the day by heading to the Conference News Agency Awards, where we were shortlisted in 8 categories. Yep, you read that right, 8. And although we didn't win - it was still a MASSIVE accolade for the team to be shortlisted and recognised amongst household brand names and such high level projects, teams and individuals. We enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal at the Grand Connaught rooms, were treated to a showcase from the Lion King, and we quaffed fizz and rosé until we hauled ourselves out of our chairs, and got ourselves off to our birthday party. A short taxi ride away and we were at the venue, BAM Karaoke Box.

We wanted to do something a bit different this year, so we headed over to Victoria where BAM have opened their first UK branch. We had a brilliant time singing, eating, and yeah you guessed it, drinking to our hearts content. Cocktails flowed, both non alcoholic and alcoholic, delicious food was served, and we were joined by an amazing bunch of clients and friends from across the Public, Private, NFP and Housing Sectors. Everyone sang their socks off, and we even got to sing with a live guitarist afterwards.

The atmosphere was electric, and the guests networked and arranged follow-on meetings with one another, just another example of how our brilliant community breaks down barriers and brings people together.

As has become the norm with our events, guests went home with goody bags jam packed with amazing treats and goodies, with gifts from Je Joue, Nourished, Gather Cocktails, GF Fabulosity, Mocktails, Beanies Coffee, New Forest Shortbread, Malibu Sun , Fresh Wipes and we even got a few gifts and birthday cards ourselves too!

Thanks to everyone that came and made this another stand out event for us. We really value all your support, friendship, trust and we can’t wait to do more amazing work together!
