The Client:

Gootopia is the UK’s very first high street slime store. Offering a range of exciting activities and experiences, including slime-making parties, school science workshops and birthday parties, Gootopia is the ultimate destination in London for everything slime-related.

The Brief:

Gootopia is launching its newest store in Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth. In order to raise awareness among their target audience of families, they decided to hold an exciting store launch party in July to coincide with the summer holidays. Gootopia requested our help in inviting influencers and VIP guests to the event, as well as support with catering, goody bags and event documentation.

The Challenge:

Since it was a huge party, we needed to make it worth the while of our client. With a target of 100 attendees, we needed to make sure every influencer and content creator that were invited would be sure to make the largest impact on social media. We also had to organise an event that reflected the fun and family-friendly atmosphere of Gootopia, with a lot of photo opportunities!

Our Approach:

We researched and created a list of family influencers that would reach Gootopia’s target audience the best. We designed personalised invitations and made sure they were taken care of throughout the event.

On the day, we had an amazing charcuterie board, a face paint artist, and hosted a slime-making competition. We also sourced a brilliant goody bag for the kids that attended the event, with extra slime, yummy snacks and lots of toys!

We went above and beyond, personally helping out with management on the day to make sure the event went as smoothly as possible.

Results

The event was a resounding success. With many influencers and content creators in attendance, the social media content from the event was plentiful and reflected the fun atmosphere of the day.
