5 Things To Do in London in May

One more month until summer, festivals, picnics in the park and a Pimm’s in the sun! Until then we’re here with some of the best things to do in London throughout May. Whether you’re looking for a bank holiday night out or a day out with the family in half term, we’ve got some great suggestions for you.

Hijingo Bingo

Looking for something to do on May Bank holiday? No longer are the days where bingo is just for old people… haha joking (kinda!). Hijingo Bingo brings together live entertainment, luminous lights, sonic effects, motion graphics, cocktails, food and most obviously - bingo! Not only is it a great laugh with your mates but there’s also a chance to win some great prizes, including a European holiday for two!

Banksy Exhibition

Just a couple of minutes walk from Covent Garden, the Banksy exhibition holds the world’s largest collection of privately owned Banksy art. As you enter the exhibition you see the timeline on the wall between 1997-2008, the time period in which Banky’s most recognisable work was created. The exhibition displays some of Banky’s most famous pieces and highlights the social issues that contributed to much of the inspiration behind Banksy’s work. The show takes place opposite Seven Dial Market, so why not make a day of it!

Alcatraz Prison Cocktail Bar

Have you got a knack for sneaking your full, unfinished glass of wine when the pub closes? Well, now is your chance to try and sneak a drink into a bar. It’s time to put on your orange overalls and sneak your liquor past the prison’s Warden. Behind the bars of the immersive cocktail experience, the prison uses the booze you bring in to make tailor-made cocktails for you and your cell mates!

Chelsea Flower Show

One of the greatest flower shows worldwide, the Chelsea Flower show is filled with cutting-edge garden designs, bright floral displays, and garden products for you to buy. The show is attended by members of the British Royal Family - so who knows, you might even get a wave from Lizzie!

Jump Trampoline Park

If your kids are bursting with energy then Jump is the one. The giant trampoline park is filled with different zones; activity zone, foam pits, game zone, slide, and more. Either sit on the side lines and relax with a cup of coffee or join in - Jump is for adults too! P.S. If your kids are ages 7+ there’s also a go karting track outside… get them trained up for the Grand Prix from an early age!
