Things to do in London in June

Wow, so it’s June already wtf…the year is flying by!

Forget your cosy nights in, it’s time to thrive in a beer garden and top yourself up with Pimms. Or if you’re not into that then it’s time to get outside and soak up the sun (providing England doesn’t do and England on us!).

June is full of fun things to do, this year with a 4-day weekend to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee (2-5th), Father’s Day on the 19th, and let's not forget the first day of summer on June 21st. We’ve selected some of the best things to do in London in June, just for you:

Roof East

Known as the ultimate playground for adults, this is the perfect location for a day out with your mates or even with your dad to celebrate Father’s Day. Roof East is a huge, lively rooftop hangout with a bar, street food, and outdoor movie nights, as well as activities such as mini-golf, bowls, ping pong, and more. What more could you ask for?

Taste of London

This year Taste of London will take place from 15-19th June in Regent’s Park. Taste of London is essentially 5 days of feasting where hungry Londoners can try some of the best food and drinks in the country. There’s also a crazy golf course, coffee bar, VIP lounge, craft beer and cider trail, and there’s even a speed dating session with the dating app Inner Circle!

Peaky Blinders the Rise

Now I know we said to get outside this month so this might seem a bit hypocritical, however just in case it rains, we have a fab new suggestion for you. Peaky Blinders the Rise is a brand new immersive experience opening up in Camden. By order of the Peaky Blinders, you're invited to dress up and immerse yourself in Tommy Shelby's universe. You'll see live sets, unforgettable character interactions, and competitive gameplay as the story unfolds. You'll ultimately decide whether Tommy Shelby and his family succeed in their bid to conquer London.

Wimbledon

It’s time to serve up your strawberries and cream because Wimbledon is back on the 27th of June. In 2021, Novak Djokovic and Ashleigh Barty won the men's and women's singles competitions. But, will they defend their titles?

Visit Little Venice

Little Venice is a peaceful canal district in London with waterside cafes and restaurants. Enjoy a quiet boat excursion to ZSL London Zoo or Camden and take a wander around picturesque streets. If you’re looking for some food we’d recommend The Summer House, a sophisticated seafood restaurant served on a balcony overlooking the canal in an airy and light dining area.
