Here at Goho HQ we are very passionate about events! We quite literally eat, drink, sleep and dream about events, so we thought we'd explain in a bit more detail exactly what we do.
Offsites
Does your company wish to host an away day or even a few days for all staff? For our client IMMO we took all 150 team members from four different continents to Faro in Portugal for a three night offsite. Did we also mention that we pulled the whole thing together in under two months? See what I mean, we're passionate about it. This really was no mean feat, not only were the flights and visa for all staff a huge piece of work logistically, the programme of learning for the team members had to be written into a rigorous agenda, then we needed to devise a social plan for the duration of the stay, some of which was hosted in the beautiful hotel that we arranged for the guests, but also some external excursions, such as a tour and a delicious lunch at a local vineyard. We worked very closely with our client to understand their tone and what they wanted to achieve from this offsite. We helped them to build the gala dinner of dreams and the enjoyment amongst the staff members during their stay was palpable for all to see and feel. Staff engagement post-event was extraordinarily high. One very happy client.
Fringe events
The way in which companies across industries go about business development now is much more strategic and planned than it has ever been. Industry specific conferences are now and have always been a great source of networking, but we have helped many of our clients take this further and entertain groups of their clients during a specific conference. Whether that is breakfast, lunch, dinner/reception, the Goho way is to make your fringe event as out there and as impressive as it could possibly be. We helped our client Phenom People achieve this by partnering with the TFL Cable Car to transform their terminal building into a really cool reception area. We made a bar with a huge selection of drinks, we had a local small business come and lay a stunning and organic grazing table that truly was as tasty as it it looked and a really cool female Radio 1 DJ spinning the tunes in the background while we took small groups of our clients’ guests over the Thames on a cable car ride whilst enjoying a few glasses of champers. The feedback from our client on the engagement of business would have been worth doing three of these events! We don't consider any of our ideas hairbrain, we just make sure we make them work!
Staff Socials
Workforces that socialise together, succeed together and our clients also know the benefits of their staff spending social time together out of working hours. We want to make sure our clients' workforce have the best possible time at the events we put together for them. We work within challenging budget constraints, after all, internal socials are a luxury, but with our hugely extensive network of suppliers, we can make the impossible possible. Our attention to detail ensures that the little touches make those socials really special and something to remember. Whether that be karaoke at the fantastic Karaoke Box, wholesome and holistic events such as Terrarium making, office themed parties for Oktoberfest and Apres Ski where we transformed our clients offices into a french bar on the alps or a german beer hall extravaganza, the crazier the brief the happier we are. Our brainstorming sessions are the meetings of dreams!
Conferences and Launches
Whether small scale or thousands of participants planning conferences and product launches for us are the Rolls Royce of event planning. Why do we love it so much? Because we are total control freaks and we get to plan and execute every part of your event meticulously from inception to post event. Nothing makes us prouder than being able to be involved from end to end, every important step of an event of this magnitude, from registration services, to building the expo, helping design the plenaries and sessions therein, sponsorship, speakers, you name it, we want to be involved! We are able to call on our huge network of suppliers for every element of such an event, from huge set build to audio visual to partnerships for goodybag inserts, we really do think of everything.
