Unforgettable Corporate Events in Dubai: A Guide to Luxury Venues and Experiences

Dubai is a destination like no other, a place where luxury and innovation merge to create unforgettable experiences. As you may have seen on our socials, I was there this week, participating in the EU Corporate and Incentive Study Mission organised by Dubai Business Events, and it was a blast. From site inspections to cultural visits, everything was planned to showcase the best that Dubai has to offer for our next events. Off-topic, but I turned 30 there, so I feel like my year will be luxe!

On the first day, we started with a presentation at the beautiful Marriott Resort Palm Jumeirah Dubai, where we learned about the city's history and culture. Then, we had a site inspection of the resort, which has an incredible view of the palm-shaped island and modern meeting spaces, including a ballroom for up to 150 pax.

After that, we were picked up and transferred to Caesars Palace, where we had another site inspection and a delicious British-themed lunch. The bedrooms are luxe, but the highlight here was the ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows overseeing the sea. Later in the afternoon, we took a visit to the beautiful Museum of the Future and, obviously, to Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Imagine taking your leadership team for a toast there? In Dubai, the sky is the limit (like, literally). In the evening, we had a site visit to Terra Solis, a stunning event venue that offers a unique experience in the desert, perfect for incentives out of the box.

The next day, we started early with a visit to Dubai Expo City, the COP28 host and home to amazing and versatile event spaces and fantastic sustainability initiatives. After that, we headed to W The Palm, a trendy hotel that combines modern design and beach vibes. We had a site inspection and a delicious lunch at Torno Subito, an Italian restaurant with a playful concept. Can we talk about their suites? I mean, I'm looking forward to hosting an event there so our team *has* to come...

And whilst in the Palm, we needed to see The View at the Palm, an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of the city and the palm-shaped island. The view from the top is breathtaking, and we learned about the engineering and construction of the island. Yes, the space can be privatised for events and experiences like a yoga lesson, and others.

In the afternoon, we had some fun at Top Golf, whilst having some drinks and snacks while enjoying the view of the city skyline.

Later, we visited Sofitel the Obelisk, a luxurious hotel with a French touch, where we had another site inspection and a delicious dinner. Their event spaces are classy and elegant, and the restaurant on the last floor provides the best view for your company dinner.

On the last day, we visited Atlantis The Royal, a new resort that promises to be one of the city's most impressive. Yes, the Beyonce one. Think paradise and double it, that's what Atlantis has to offer. With different meeting spaces, a gorgeous modern ballroom, a range of restaurants, the hotel is perfect for companies that want to keep their teams in one place, whilst also giving them the freedom to enjoy some free time.

Then, we visited Etihad Museum, a fascinating museum that tells the story of the United Arab Emirates' founding fathers and their vision. We learned about their struggles, achievements, and legacy. After that, we visited Sheikh Mohammad Centre for Cultural Understanding, where we had a cultural exchange and a traditional lunch. We learned about the Emirati culture, customs, and traditions, and had the opportunity to ask questions and interact with locals. Truly a lifetime experience!

In the afternoon, we had an abra ride across Dubai Creek, a historic waterway that divides the city into two parts. We also visited Gold and Spice Souk, traditional markets that offer a glimpse of the city's trading heritage. In the evening, we had a site inspection and a dinner at JW Marriott Marquis, another luxurious hotel that boasts impressive architecture and amenities.

The whole experience was fun and inspiring and just confirmed that Dubai is a great destination for corporate offsites and incentive events. The city has everything you need to create memorable experiences for your clients or employees, from world-class hotels to unique attractions and activities. Thanks to Dubai Business Events, Dubai Tourism, and all the hosts and organisers for an unforgettable trip.
