Wunderdog

Marketing - Social Media

The Client:

Wunderdog Magazine is a beautifully created magazine, dedicated to promoting the good life with rescue dogs. Wunderdog’s aim is to make ‘rescue’ the world’s favourite breed by showcasing the brilliant work done by rescue organisations and promoting the wonderful life you can have with an adopted underdog.

The Brief:

Goho was appointed by Wunderdog Magazine to take over their social media accounts and achieve the following objectives:

  • Grow Magazine Subscriptions

  • Increase social media following

Key Challenges:

  • We had no advertising spend available to us, so all activity was to be done organically

  • The rescue dog community was a very active one on social media, with a high amount of content to cut through

Our Approach:

We worked hard to determine a strong content strategy for the brand, covering each aspect of the magazine e.g. championing its work for dog charities, educating users on the magazine and driving to purchase.

Each week we use our social media scheduling tools to post a wide range of content across the channels. We ensure all content is aligned with the brands’ tone of voice and is engaging. We regularly review and refresh the strategy to ensure Wunderdog gets the maximum return from their posts. This includes tracking the optimum time to post content to ensure the best engagement.

The Results:

  • At the date of writing this, we have grown the brands Instagram account following by 12% and Facebook by 8%.

Lana and Goho have been working for Wunderdog Magazine for six weeks now. Lana is super organised and, at the same time, flexible to put together stories and posts as and when. She is self-starting in researching helpful tips for my audience and often goes beyond what I supply. Our reach has substantially increased, and I hope to continue working with Goho as Wunderdog grows.
