The Client

The 1 Bar is a new cocktail bar in Central London featuring live musical entertainment and high-quality cocktails. Featuring musical talent from world-class performers and DJs, as well as top mixologists, The 1 Bar is an exciting new addition to London’s vibrant nightlife scene.

The Brief

Ahead of its grand opening on November 1st, The 1 Bar aimed to generate strong PR momentum to build local awareness and establish a prestigious brand image. Long-term, the venue aspired to position itself as the go-to spot for after-work drinks, social gatherings, and corporate bookings.

Our Approach

To maximize visibility for the launch, we crafted a compelling press release and invited key journalists to attend the Grand Opening. Post-event, we conducted targeted follow-ups to secure media coverage.

Following the launch, we continued proactive outreach—inviting journalists to visit the venue and tailoring press releases and pitches around key moments in the calendar, such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day.

Additionally, we positioned The 1 Bar’s founder as an expert in London’s nightlife scene, offering them for interviews and commentary on topics such as the evolving clubbing culture and trending cocktails. We also monitored journalist requests closely, ensuring The 1 Bar was included in relevant hospitality and F&B features.

The Results

By the end of the campaign, we secured 10 media placements across local and lifestyle publications. Several journalists attended the Grand Opening and follow-up visits in the weeks that followed. Notably, we arranged an interview with The 1 Bar’s founder in a prominent London publication, and gained multiple placements promoting the Valentine’s Day event.
