People Cert

The Client

Our client People Cert were hosting the launch of their new book Prince 2.7 and asked us to support on the programming and delivery of the event.

The Brief

Due to the nature of the book, the client wanted to create an experiential gamification angle to their event. Having already booked their venue (Tower Bridge) there was lots of logistical issues with suppliers and access etc.

Our Approach

After brainstorming as a team, we decided to bring in large games that guests could interact with, within the space. We contacted our suppliers to see which giant games they had available that would work well with the brief and complement the values of the book well.  The client specified they particularly wanted a giant maze game, which we eventually sourced. But it did result in us going to personally collect the game and bring it to the venue. Nothing is too much for our clients!

To further add to the experiential angle for the event, we brought in a digital caricaturist and a close up magician. These were both from our Creative Network, our little black book of the best suppliers out there who always deliver in terms of both quality and cost efficiency.  The venue for this event was the event space on Tower Bridge and this creates a lot of difficulties logistically getting into the venue due to the entrance of the location being on the bridge.  We had to be very organised and explicite with our instructions to our suppliers for load into this event.  Even with that information, tricky load-ins like this can be a very unknown entity. Our over communication on this point made the experience straightforward and seamless.  We managed the planning and organising of the suppliers, the load in, managed the event on the night, and of course the de-rig.

The Results

Our clients were very happy with the event, especially since we went above and beyond to find solutions that worked perfectly with their venue and subject matter. We made all the logistical issues melt away and dealt with them so they didn't need to worry, they just had to turn up, and enjoy their event. Another happy Goho client.
