The Client:

Doncaster Fashion Week is pushing the boundaries of the fashion industry by making the catwalk an experience, mixing production, DJ’s and performance with fashion. 

The Brief:

We worked with Doncaster Fashion Week to raise awareness and engagement in the launch of the first ever edition of the Doncaster Fashion Week. 

Key Challenges:

  • Engaging the media in an entirely new fashion offering 

Our Approach:

Goho worked closely with Leah McMullen, founder, to get a comprehensive understanding of the initiative and the offering to create a robust and attractive press release. 

This press release was then distributed to local and nationwide media, utilising Goho’s fashion media contacts, to secure Leah & the event with interviews and press coverage. 

The Results:

  • 6 full placements in news publications

  • A radio interview for our client 

  • Secured a face-to-face interview for our client in the leading local news publication 

  • Distributed media tickets to 4 journalists, encouraging on-the-night coverage 

  • Researched & contacted key bloggers in the industry to encourage on-the-night attendance
