Festivals For A Cause

Are you ready to soak up the festival atmosphere once again? It’s so last year to say “We’re back after a difficult couple of years…”, but, well, here we are again. However, festivals are no longer just about having fun; many of them now have a purpose beyond just entertainment. They are about supporting important causes and communities.

Let's take a closer look at some of the coolest festivals that are adding a dash of purpose to the party, which we are lucky enough to have as clients (yes, we do have the best clients ever)!

Brew//LDN

Taking place at Printworks in London from the 5th to the 6th of May, Brew//LDN is the UK’s biggest craft beer festival, featuring over 100 craft beer, cider, and indie drinks brands. Premium street food and live DJs add to the fun!

The festival's mission is to support and celebrate the hospitality industry, one of the most affected sectors over the past few years, for various reasons. Through their events and partnerships, Brew aims to celebrate and grow the sector while also giving more people the opportunity to find their next favourite beer, cider, or spirit.

Out & Wild Festival

The Out & Wild Festival is the UK's first wellness festival designed specifically for queer, questioning, and curious women and non-binary individuals. Launched in 2022, the event takes place in June during Pride Month and offers a diverse range of experiences and activities, including music and comedy, wellness, spoken word, sports, and workshops.

The festival's primary focus is on creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive space for all LGBTQIA women and non-binary individuals. The organizers strive to reflect diversity in their acts and artists and are committed to making the festival as accessible as possible for those with disabilities or accessibility needs.

Out & Wild's mission is to connect people through shared experiences and celebrate the community. The festival works with local charities and organizations to offer bursary tickets and chooses a charity partner each year.

Lowde Festival

If you're a music lover, then the Lowde Festival is the perfect place to be. The festival aims to support the best new talent and use music to improve people’s lives.

Bringing the best music, food, and entertainment to Hazeley Bottom Farm in Hampshire, Lowde is preparing to celebrate its 10th festival. Starting out as a small festival with 250 people and a couple of barrels of beer, its success has grown to two stages of fantastic music, a funfair for all the family, and opportunities for camping for the full festival experience, with around 5000 people in attendance in recent years.

As part of the Lowde Music Trust, the festival supports the charity’s ‘Music for Good’ aim - supporting scholarships and grants for upcoming musicians.
